    Description

    We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Lead Process Technician to join our fast-paced warehouse environment. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of technicians, coordinating between inbound and outbound processes, and ensuring optimal productivity and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a keen eye for process improvement to drive our team"s success in meeting service level agreements and maintaining high customer satisfaction.

From individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve people and organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity.

    Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

    Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Mentor, lead and develop a team of technicians with a focus on safety, people, quality, planning and sustainability every day
    • Monitor and report on key performance indicators and service level agreements
    • Facilitate shift handovers and communicate important information to transportation, quality, planners, procurement, and other related departments to resolve problems
    • Provide performance coaching and support to team members
    • Oversee and coordinate inbound and/or outbound processes
    • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and proper equipment usage
    • Monitor and prioritize urgent requests and high-priority tasks
    • Collaborate with your team on process improvements
    • Maintain quality control and accuracy in the warehouse operations
    • Ensure proper inventory management and storage practices
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues to maintain operational efficiency

    A day in the life

    As a Lead Process Technician, you"ll play a vital role in managing daily warehouse operations, working closely with our technicians to ensure smooth operations. Your day involves monitoring inbound and/or outbound processes, from coordinating inbound receiving to overseeing order fulfillment, while maintaining service level agreements and quality standards. You"ll act as a key problem-solver, addressing urgent requests, and ensuring proper labor distribution across different areas. The role requires constant communication with various stakeholders to track performance metrics, and implement adjustments to meet operational targets.
