Description
Overview of Opportunity
We're looking for a Lead Product Marketing Manager to contribute to and own execution of the go-to-market strategy for hardware and software products within our cybersecurity product portfolio. These products are already in the market, your mandate is to relaunch them with sharper positioning and a stronger GTM motion for our government customer base.
This is an individual contributor role. You'll work alongside another PMM who owns a separate set of products, and you'll partner closely with our product, engineering, and growth teams to bring the GTM strategy to life. You should be someone who builds the plan and runs it, not someone waiting on direction or coordinating other people's work.
What You'll Do
Own positioning, messaging, and marketing strategy for your assigned cybersecurity products.
Lead a full relaunch motion: refreshed narrative, campaign strategy, and execution sequencing.
Understand the competitive landscape and continuously analyzing buyer personas and market trends.
Partner with product and engineering to translate technical capability into market-relevant messaging.
Build sales enablement materials and stay close to the field to understand what's resonating and what isn't.
Brief and direct our content team on creative needs in service of your GTM plan.
Develop a deep understanding of how government and DoD buyers evaluate, procure, and adopt new technology.
Need to Have
6+ years of product marketing experience, with a track record of owning GTM strategy for a specific product, not just contributing to a broader team motion.
Demonstrated track record of designing channel enablement programs for government resellers, including training partner field reps and translating complex technical and compliance requirements into turnkey co-selling materials.
Strong written and strategic skills, paired with the operational ability to execute a launch end-to-end.
Comfort operating independently as the strategic and tactical owner of your product line.
Familiarity with data security or cybersecurity is important, but deep expertise is not required. We'll support you in building technical fluency on the job.
Nice to Have
SEO and SEM expertise so you can develop and execute comprehensive organic search strategies to increase rankings for primary keywords and drive inbound growth.
Demonstrated mastery of marketing automation so that you can build automated lead-nurture flows, and help maintain data hygiene.
Ability to design digital and print assets, including brochures, social media graphics, email templates, and event collateral.
Active security clearance is not required, but can be beneficial.
