What does a Lead Production Project Engineer do at Swire Coca-Cola?
The Lead Production Project Engineer provides enterprise-level leadership in the planning, development, and execution of capital and production engineering initiatives across the supply chain network. This role leads complex, cross-functional projects from concept through implementation, ensuring alignment with operational strategy, safety standards, and financial objectives. The position also owns the development and advancement of manufacturing data systems that support supply chain operations. This includes establishing strategies, tools, and analytical capabilities-including the application of AI-to enable world-class manufacturing through effective project execution, data collection, and performance analysis. Working in close partnership with plant leadership, maintenance teams, site Production Project Engineers, and Production Operations, this role drives improvements in equipment capability, operational efficiency, and execution standards while establishing scalable best practices across the organization.

Responsibilities:
* Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of capital and production engineering initiatives that drive measurable improvements in manufacturing performance across the Supply Chain network
* Provide leadership and oversight for complex capital projects including equipment replacement, new product or package introductions, automation initiatives, and capacity expansions
* Own end-to-end project delivery, including scope definition, capital justification, bid management, vendor selection, project scheduling, and implementation, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
* Serve as the accountable leader for project financial performance, managing CAPEX budgets and ensuring effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle
