Lead Production Supervisor- 1st Shift

Job Duties/Responsibilities -

Oversee and manage daily production operations during the 1st shift to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of production goals. - Coordinate and supervise production team members, ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and work procedures. - Monitor production schedules, adjust priorities as needed, and ensure proper resource allocation to meet deadlines. - Identify and address operational challenges, implementing corrective actions to maintain smooth production processes. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as maintenance, quality control, and supply chain to optimize production efficiency. - Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment, ensuring proper functionality and reporting maintenance needs. - Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance while fostering a positive and productive work environment. - Maintain accurate records of production metrics, employee attendance, and shift performance for reporting purposes. - Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, promoting a safe workplace culture among staff.

Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to manage and motivate a production team. - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and cross-functional departments. - Proficient in using production-related tools, machinery, and software commonly utilized in manufacturing environments. - Solid problem-solving abilities to quickly address production issues and implement solutions. - Basic knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and resource management. - Familiarity with workplace safety standards and practices. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. - General understanding of manufacturing processes and operational workflows. - High school diploma or equivalent typically expected; additional education or training in manufacturing or production management is a plus but not mandatory.
