Summary:
The Lead Project Manager is responsible for leading complex business and technology initiatives through Agile product delivery practices while serving as a coach and change agent across teams. This role partners closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, Technology leaders, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and executive stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives from ideation through implementation.
The ideal candidate combines strong project and program management expertise with deep Agile delivery knowledge and proven experience coaching teams, leaders, and stakeholders in Agile ways of working. This individual will help mature product-centric delivery practices, improve team effectiveness, and ensure successful execution of high-priority transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Agile Delivery Leadership
Lead end-to-end execution of strategic programs and projects using Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies.
Facilitate delivery across multiple product teams, ensuring alignment to business objectives, roadmap commitments, and regulatory requirements.
Drive planning, dependency management, risk mitigation, issue resolution, and defect management across complex initiatives.
Establish transparency through delivery metrics, executive reporting, status updates, and outcome-based measures.
Partner with Product Owners and Product Managers to support backlog prioritization, roadmap delivery, and value realization.
Manage program governance, stakeholder communications, and executive reporting.
Utilize Jira and Agile delivery tools to track progress, manage work intake, monitor team performance, and report on delivery outcomes.
Collaborate with senior-level stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and successful project execution.
Agile Coaching & Transformation
Serve as an Agile Coach for delivery teams, product teams, and business partners.
Coach leaders and teams on Agile principles, Scrum, Kanban, Lean practices, and product operating models.
Lead Agile transformation initiatives and support organizational adoption of Agile ways of working.
Facilitate Agile maturity assessments and develop improvement plans that increase team effectiveness, collaboration, and delivery predictability.
Guide teams through Agile ceremonies including:
Sprint Planning
Daily Standups
Backlog Refinement
Sprint Reviews
Retrospectives
Quarterly Planning Events
Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, collaboration, and customer-centric delivery.
Mentor Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Business Analysts, and team members on Agile best practices.
Partner closely with Change Management teams to support organizational readiness, communication, and adoption efforts.
Product Delivery & Stakeholder Management
Collaborate with Product Managers and Product Owners to align delivery plans with strategic product objectives.
Coordinate cross-functional teams across Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and external vendor partners.
Resolve organizational impediments and facilitate decision-making through effective stakeholder engagement.
Support change readiness and adoption activities associated with new products, processes, and capabilities.
Ensure delivery teams maintain compliance with enterprise governance, risk, and control requirements.
Manage competing priorities while balancing strategic objectives, resource constraints, and delivery commitments.
Build strong relationships with executive stakeholders, providing clear communication regarding project progress, risks, dependencies, and outcomes.
Requirements:

Demonstrated project, program, or delivery management experience.
Strong understanding of Agile delivery experience in product-oriented environments.
Demonstrated experience serving as an Agile Coach, Scrum Master, Agile Delivery Lead, or Agile Transformation Lead.
Experience leading multiple concurrent initiatives across business and technology organizations.
Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
Proven ability to influence without direct authority.
Experience facilitating large-scale planning and cross-functional collaboration.
Experience using Agile delivery tools such as Jira
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
