LEAD PROTECTION AND CONTROL ENGINEER
Seeking Lead Protection and Control Engineer with high voltage (69 Kv or higher) experience. You will work with a leader in Engineering, Procurement and Construction specializing in the power industry. The ideal Engineer will have Power Network experience. We are looking for an individual to take on a lead role.
This Lead Protection and Control Engineer will focus on electrical protection and control activities which includes substations and switchyards, modifications, additions and upgrades to existing facilities.
- Execution of complex protection and control projects for brownfield and greenfield power network
- Expert in designing protection schemes and settings for substations equipment, including bus, line, capacitor and transformer protection.
- Develop and improve processes for protection and control designs including one-line and three-line diagrams, AC/DC schematics, relay panel drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Knowledge of SCADA
- Supervise engineers
- Perform independent audits and review of technical work
- Preparation of proposals, estimates and provide input to scope documents and client presentations
- Team leader able to solve complex issues and act as a lead engineer responsible for the quality of deliverables.
