Lead Protection & Control Field Technician

We are looking for a full-time mid-level Protection & Control Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of protection and controls systems, as well as experience with relays, testing, and troubleshooting.

The primary responsibility of this position will be to design, install, and maintain protection and controls systems for electrical power systems. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Design, install, and maintain protection and control systems for electrical power systems
• Troubleshoot and repair protection and controls systems
• Develop and implement testing procedures for protection and controls systems
• Work with other engineers and technicians to ensure the safe and reliable operation of electrical power systems

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field
• 5+ years of experience in the design, installation, and maintenance of protection and controls systems
• Strong understanding of protection and controls principles and practices
• Experience with relays, testing, and troubleshooting
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• PE is desirable but not required
