    Description

    Job Description:
    We are seeking an experienced quality assurance professional to join our QA team supporting our Investments portfolio. This individual will lead quality assurance efforts across initiatives and ongoing application enhancements, partnering closely with Solutions Engineers, Developers, Product Owners, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate will quickly develop an understanding of complex investment management applications, provide leadership for testing activities, and remain hands-on throughout the software development lifecycle. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, balances multiple priorities, and takes ownership while collaborating effectively across teams.
     
    Key Responsibilities
    • Lead quality assurance activities across Investment Management initiatives and portfolio enhancements.
    • Perform hands-on manual testing of complex business workflows.
    • Develop test strategies and coordinate testing efforts across project teams to ensure quality objectives are met.
    • Partner with Solutions Engineers and Developers to clarify requirements, identify gaps, and ensure comprehensive business scenario coverage.
    • Provide day-to-day guidance and support to QA engineers assigned to the Investments portfolio.
    • Design and execute SQL queries to validate data transformations, calculations, and system integrations.
    • Identify testing risks early and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
    • Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, story reviews, and defect triage.
    • Drive continuous improvements to testing processes, collaboration, and overall quality practices.
    Required Qualifications
    • 8+ years of Quality Assurance experience supporting enterprise applications, including leading testing efforts across multiple concurrent projects.
    • Strong manual testing expertise involving complex business workflows and data validation.
    • Advanced SQL skills with the ability to write and troubleshoot complex queries.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
    • Ability to work independently while coordinating testing activities across multiple team members.
    • Proven ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution.
    Required Industry Experience
    • Candidates must possess meaningful Financial Services experience with strong business knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
    • Portfolio Management
    • Investment Management
    • Trading
    • Wealth Management
    • Business domain expertise is essential for success in this role. Candidates should understand investment workflows and business processes.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience with API testing (Postman, ReadyAPI, or similar tools).
    • Experience with UI automation.
    • Experience validating complex system integrations.
    • Experience working with enterprise data warehouses or reporting platforms.
    • Familiarity with regression and end-to-end integration testing.
