Lead Quality Control Inspector - Youngstown, Ohio - Job 25-01358

Pay Rate: $25.00 - $30.00/HR Permanent Position with Benefits

Youngstown, Ohio manufacturer is seeking to hire an experienced Lead Quality Control Inspector to work with management to schedule work, expedite orders, maximize efficiency, quality and ensure inspections are conducted properly.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in a related field with one year of experience with electrical or fabrication inspection and testing (Trade School and experience may be considered in lieu of Associate Degree)
• 3+ years' experience with electrical inspection and testing preferred
• Knowledge of federal, state and industry standards, UL codes and best practices
• Understanding of the basics of electricity & electrical components with schematic reading capabilities
• Working experience organization, planning, and scheduling
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to complete reports
• Exceptional computer and math skills to calibrate and measure to specifications
• Mechanical inspection knowledge to use gauges, meters, calipers
• Familiar with quality assurance procedures, processes , d ocumentation and reporting
• Familiar with welding methods (Certified Weld Inspector Certification preferred)
• NACE Coating Inspector Certification preferred
• Past experience with commercial and/or residential electrical wiring is preferred
• Inspecting physical and electrical systems for defects using gauges, meters, and measuring devices
• Perform electrical tests to ensure that systems are safe and working properly
• Calibrate measuring equipment as needed
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
• Assist to train others on quality control procedures and propose quality control improvements
