Job TitleJoin a well-established engineering and manufacturing organisation known for delivering highly technical products for demanding industries.Job DescriptionPartner with Engineering and Operations teams to ensure products and manufacturing processes meet customer requirements and quality standards. Review drawings, specifications, quality requirements, and manufacturing documentation to ensure compliance with customer and internal standards. Develop, maintain, and improve quality procedures, systems, and processes. Create training materials and conduct quality-related training sessions for employees. Support supplier quality initiatives and ensure vendor compliance with established quality requirements. Analyse quality data, identify trends, and recommend corrective and preventive actions. Lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance product quality, operational efficiency, and overall performance. Develop, implement, and maintain quality evaluation methods, control systems, and inspection protocols. Perform inspections using a variety of measurement and inspection equipment to verify product conformity. Serve as a quality resource across multiple departments and help drive a culture of quality and accountability. Strong knowledge of AS9100 quality standards. Experience mentoring, training, or providing guidance to team members; prior leadership or project lead experience is highly preferred. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T in accordance with ASME Y14.5. Experience working with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs). Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project. Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
