    Lead Rehab Technician: Oakwood | 1st shift, 40 hours | East Lansing, MI

    Lead with purpose while changing lives! As a Lead Rehabilitation Technician, you'll empower individuals recovering from traumatic brain injuries (TBI) and spinal cord injuries (SCI) to regain independence while providing leadership and support to a team of Rehabilitation Technicians. You'll balance hands-on client care with coaching, training, scheduling, and ensuring high-quality, person-centered services. Every day, you'll help clients reach meaningful milestones while fostering a collaborative team environment that promotes safety, growth, and exceptional care.

    What You’ll Do

    • Provides leadership, coaching, and oversight for Rehab Tech I, II and III staff
    • Participate in the on-call rotation
    • Attend to administrative needs and coordinate with medical providers
    • Assist with daily living (ADLs), personal care, and medications
    • Support community outings, transportation, and activities
    • Build positive relationships and encourage independence
    • Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment

    What You Bring

    Required:

    • Two-year degree from an accredited college or university. Equivalent leadership experience will be accepted with a High School Diploma or G.E.D in lieu of a 2-year degree.
    • Valid driver's license
    • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
    • Ability to pass background checks and fingerprints
    • Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification
