Job Title: Lead Rehabilitation Therapist Behavioral Health
Division/Program: Acacia Mental Health Rehabilitation Center
Starting Compensation: $71,163.76 - $85,396.51 USD Per Year
Working Location: Redwood City: Mental Health Rehabilitation Center (In-person position)
Working Hours/Shift: FT, Tuesday-Saturday, AM shift (9:00 am-5:30 pm)

What you bring to SBHG (qualifications):
• Master's degree in a social science field required, plus two (2) years of experience working in a behavioral health field. • License or Certification: Rehab Therapist Lead/ Activity Coordinator must be licensed as an occupational therapist, music therapist, art therapist, dance therapist or recreation therapist. • NOTE: Must possess a valid California Drivers License and maintain a driving record that meets the company drivers eligibility policy.
How you will make a difference (job overview):
The Rehabilitation Therapist Lead is responsible for providing direct and indirect rehabilitation services to participants. These services are provided through individualized and/or group activities for participants. Division/Program Overview: MHRC is a 16 bed, inpatient program that provides intensive support and rehabilitative services.
The individuals served are 18-64 years old with mental health struggles that have necessitated placement in a state hospital or other intensive behavioral health facility. Comprehensive behavioral health and psychiatric services are provided by a multidisciplinary team. The team supports individuals in developing the skills to become self-sufficient and increase levels of independence and functioning.

In accordance with California law, the grade for this position is $71,163.76 - $106,745.64. Placement within the grade is determined based on experience, internal equity, and other factors permitted by law.
