They are seeking a lead engineer for Pittsburgh CREATES (Collaborative Research, Education and Technology Advancement in Surgery), supporting medical device innovation through needs-based design, rapid prototyping (3D printing, laser cutting), and translational research development.
Responsibilities include clinical needs-finding in collaboration with surgical faculty, prototype fabrication and iteration, support of global health innovation initiatives including SPARK Gorongosa, and coordination of CREATES engineering activities under the direction of the co-directors.
