Your New Role:  LEAD HVAC Residential Installer

Basic Function

Install basic HVAC systems and any other related HVAC components correctly and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

1. Install HVAC related equipment according to manufacturer’s specifications.

2. Wire low voltage to heating and cooling equipment.

3. Install copper refrigerant line to air conditioning units, including soldering and brazing.

4. Install sheet metal and flex duct systems in residential and light commercial buildings.

5. Properly connect gas lines to heating equipment.

6. Maintain cleanliness of assigned company vehicle.

7. Any other assigned duties as directed by management.

Physical Demands

Ability to lift/move 75 pounds several times daily. Must be able to work outdoors in hot or below freezing temperatures. Must be able to work from ladders and/or scaffolds. Must have good vision, hearing, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, working overhead, and lifting. Exposed to a moderate noise environment. Must be able to read, write, and have the ability to perform basis math functions. Must be clean cut in appearance. Must have good customer relation skills. Must be able/willing to attend employer required educational classes.

Pay Range $25-$35/hour DOE

Education/Training

Associates Degree in HVAC preferred. Mechanical IV license

Experience

1 year at a minimum

Equipment

Miscellaneous tools necessary to the HVAC trade. Proficient use required.

Certifications/Licenses

Valid Driver’s License- Must meet insurance underwriting requirements.
