Lead Roustabout
jade owls is a fast-growing oil & gas operator built on integrity, grit, and cash flow. Since 2022, we've grown more than 65x and currently operate ~13,500 BOPD across Northeast Wyoming and Oklahoma.
We're seeking a Lead Roustabout to provide hands-on field leadership while overseeing roustabout crews, coordinating daily work activities, and ensuring jobs are completed safely, and efficiently. This role serves as a key resource for field operations and works closely with Lease Operators and Foremen.

Responsibilities
- Lead and work alongside roustabout crews in daily field operations and maintenance activities
- Coordinate daily work assignments and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule
- Mentor and train roustabout team members, promoting safe work practices and quality workmanship
- Perform and oversee maintenance, repairs, and cleanup of well sites, tank batteries, roads, locations, and production facilities
- Operate and inspect tools, equipment, trailers, and light machinery while ensuring proper maintenance
- Assist Lease Operators and Foremen with production support, repairs, and operational priorities
- Identify maintenance needs and communicate equipment, material, and staffing requirements to leadership
- Ensure compliance with all company safety policies, environmental regulations, and operational procedures
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 3+ years of oil & gas field experience required
- Previous experience leading or mentoring field crews preferred
- Strong knowledge of oilfield equipment, production facilities, and general maintenance
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize work and make sound decisions in a fast-paced field environment
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Valid Class A CDL with an acceptable motor vehicle record
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
Work Environment
- Outdoor field work in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Exposure to heavy equipment, chemicals, and H2S environments
