Position Requirements
- Assist Transportation Supervisor in managing Transportation Specialist Team members in determining and monitoring workload, schedules, time off, and general operations activities to ensure accuracy, efficiency, safety and security, while meeting Access SOP standards and Client Service Level Agreements.
- Complete daily operational tasks related to the branch including, but not limited to, reviewing all daily scheduled routes for drivers, act as a dispatcher to assist drivers while out on their routes, and ensure that all drivers make it back to the branch following their routes.
- Participate in the training of team members on systems, scanners, workflows and procedures and provide feedback to Market Leader on team member performance as needed.
- Ensure compliance with appropriate OSHA regulations and ensure all accidents and injuries are properly reported.
- In collaboration with Market Leader, ensure facility, as well as all vehicles, are safe and clean and follow through on any repairs or maintenance as needed..
- Organize and maintain records for all productivity, safety, incentives, maintenance, meetings and training.
- Meet or exceed budgetary and KPI targets.
- Know and understand defined role in the Company Disaster Recovery Plan.
- Create an environment of collaboration with team members.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 years past work experience in a service industry required.
- 1 year experience leading service-oriented teams.
- Must possess basic computer skills.
- Ability to complete paperwork accurately and completely understand the importance of detail and accuracy.
- Routine lifting of 20-50 pounds (100-400 containers per day).
