Short Job Description
The Arizona Department of Economic Security (AZDES) is seeking an experienced Lead Salesforce Developer with expertise in Salesforce Experience Cloud to lead architecture, development, integrations, and modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of Salesforce development experience, 5+ years in a lead role, and strong hands-on expertise with LWC, LWR, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, Apex, REST/SOAP integrations, CI/CD, SFDX, and Salesforce security frameworks. This role requires technical leadership, stakeholder engagement, code review oversight, and the ability to design scalable, high-performance customer-facing Salesforce solutions.
Required Skills
10+ years of Salesforce Development experience
5+ years of Lead Salesforce Developer experience
Experience designing and developing enterprise Salesforce solutions
Strong Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Experience Cloud expertise
Experience with Salesforce security models, SSO, and External Identity
API integration experience using REST/SOAP and Named Credentials
CI/CD, Salesforce CLI, and SFDX experience
Preferred Skills
Salesforce Experience Cloud (Community Cloud)
Deep expertise with Lightning Web Runtime (LWR)
Salesforce Data Cloud integration experience
Salesforce Certified Experience Cloud Consultant
Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I
Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP, AWS, and Marketing Cloud
Key Responsibilities
Lead architecture and design of Salesforce Experience Cloud solutions
Develop high-performance LWC applications optimized for LWR
Implement personalized user experiences using Audience Targeting and Salesforce CMS
Design automated workflows with Flows and Apex
Integrate Salesforce with external enterprise systems
Establish deployment governance and CI/CD best practices
Conduct code reviews and mentor development teams
Partner with business and executive stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and solutions
