TradeSTAR is partnering with top low voltage contractors in Austin who are looking for skilled Lead Technicians to drive projects and mentor teams in the field.
What You ll Do:
-Lead crews on access control, CCTV, and security system installations
-Install and oversee cabling, device mounting, and system integration
-Work hands-on with card readers, door hardware, mag-locks, strikes, motion sensors, and cameras
-Read blueprints, plan cable paths, and coordinate daily tasks
-Troubleshoot systems and ensure proper functionality and performance
-Manage job site productivity, quality, and safety
-Communicate progress, material needs, and updates to project teams
Who You Are:
-4+ years of security, access control, or low voltage experience
-Strong experience installing and troubleshooting access control and CCTV systems
-Ability to read blueprints and manage job layouts
-Experience leading crews or mentoring junior technicians
-Security license required or ability to obtain
-Strong communication and problem-solving skills
-Reliable transportation and consistent work ethic
