We specialize in high-quality residential and light commercial installations, maintenance, and repairs.We are looking for an experienced Lead Sheet Metal Installer to lead our sheet metal fabrication and installation team.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive hourly pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour401(k) with company match up to 4%100% employer-paid Medical, Dental & Vision for employee only7 Paid HolidaysSick Leave earned at 1 hour per 30 hours worked (per California requirements)Paid time off - 1 week in your first year, with up to 4 weeks as you growWhat You'll DoLead the installation of saddles, coping, flashing, metal panels, and custom sheet metal componentsRead and interpret architectural and mechanical drawingsOversee layout, cutting, forming, and assembly of sheet metalEnsure all work meets safety standards, building codes, and quality expectationsAbility to drive to job sites dailyMentor and supervise sheet metal helpers and apprenticesMaintain a clean and organized job site and shop environmentPossess excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skillsRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDTechnical or trade school certification in sheet metal or HVAC preferredMinimum 5+ years of hands-on architectural or HVAC sheet metal experienceStrong ability to read blueprints and technical drawingsProficient in sheet metal fabrication techniquesPrevious leadership or crew lead experienceValid California driver's license with clean driving recordOSHA 10 or 30 certification preferredAbility to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, and lifting for extended periodsPhysical & Work EnvironmentMust wear proper PPE at all timesComfortable working in a production shop environment with exposure to noise, sharp materials, and machineryAble to stand, bend, and lift for extended periodsThis is a full-time, in-person position.
