Position Overview

A well-established roofing contractor in the Beaverton area is seeking an experienced Shingle Foreman to lead residential roofing crews. This is a hands-on leadership role for a skilled roofer who takes pride in quality workmanship, accountability, and job-site safety.

The Foreman will oversee projects from tear-off through completion while working alongside the crew to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety at every stage.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and support a residential shingle crew
• Oversee projects from tear-off to final installation
• Ensure proper installation and maintain high-quality standards
• Monitor productivity and keep projects on schedule
• Maintain clean, organized job sites
• Enforce safety standards and OSHA compliance
• Train, mentor, and develop crew members

Requirements

• 6+ years of residential shingle roofing experience (tear-off through installation)
• Ability to demonstrate full trade proficiency in a hands-on, in-person mock-up interview
• Proven leadership experience managing roofing crews
• Strong knowledge of shingle systems, materials, and best practices
• Reliable, team-oriented work ethic
• Commitment to job-site safety and compliance

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift:
  • 25 lbs continuously
  • 50 lbs frequently
  • Up to 75 lbs occasionally
• Frequent ladder climbing
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• CDL 
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality
