Matthews Signs is a high-output sign company focused on quality work, safe crews, and a family oriented work environment. We are a company who cares about the people on our team. We’re hiring a Lead Installer to run a two-person crew and take ownership of field execution from start to finish.
Responsibilities
Load and transport signage using crane trucks, pickups, and trailers
Lead installations (channel letters, monuments, panels, etc.)
Direct a helper and maintain jobsite productivity
Communicate with customers and contractors on-site
Report site conditions and issues to management in real time
Operate lifts and equipment safely and correctly
Maintain a clean and safe work area/truck
Report any maintenance needs for trucks
Complete job photos and required documentation
Perform night work as needed (night differential provided)
Qualifications
3–5 years of lead sign installation experience
Proficient with lifts, tools, and field problem-solving
Owns a complete set of installation tools
Strong attention to detail and accountability
OSHA and lift certifications (or ability to obtain)
Works with urgency and follows through
Team-oriented and dependable
Valid Class B Driver's License (required)
Work Requirements
Daily field work with regional travel
Out-of-town work within California required
Ability to work varied schedules, including nights as needed
