JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objectives
The Lead Skills trainer provides leadership at a substance abuse treatment facility and will work closely with the Program Director to support a high-quality program that is person-centered and meets contractual obligations. This position oversees all duties performed by Skills Trainers and provides shift coverage every week.

This position provides guidance to the Skills Trainers on their team and serves as a mentor for other staff.
Work Environment
This job operates primarily in a rural treatment setting. The work is conducted mainly indoors and uses standard office equipment such as computers and copy machines. Additional equipment such as blood pressure monitoring equipment, portable breath testers, and temperature gauges are also utilized. Some driving is required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to bend or stoop as necessary. This position must be mobile throughout the facility, as well as work on a computer for periods at a time.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. The facility operates seven days a week, 24 hours per day; this position will work weekends and varied hours as assigned by the program director.
