As a lead software developer on our IT Commercial Lines team, you'll help shape the premier quoting platform for small business insurance consumers. You'll build and enhance the digital experience that streamlines how businesses share details and receive quotes. On this team, you'll collaborate with business leaders in the quoting space, work with modern cloud technologies, and make a real impact for consumers in a fast-paced environment. Participation in an on-call support rotation may be required.
This is a remote position for US-based work only.
Must-have qualifications
- Minimum of 9 years related work experience programming and supporting software applications.
- {OR} Completion of a technical training program and a minimum of 6 years related work experience programming and supporting software applications.
- {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher in an Information Technology related field of study and a minimum of 6 years related work experience programming and supporting software applications.
Preferred skills
- Demonstrated advanced front-end development experience with Angular (v8 and up).
- Strong, hands-on AWS development skills, including API Gateway, Lambda, networking/VPC, and CloudFront.
- Full-stack development experience with solid object-oriented programming skills.
- Strong ability to identify opportunities to improve code quality and provide technical leadership to drive continuous improvement.
- Proven experience coaching teammates on best practices and design patterns.
Compensation
- $132,000 - $150,000/year
- Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 40% your eligible earnings based on company performance
