We are seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer II to act as a subject matter expert within Software, System, and Test Engineering.
You will work in Newtown, PA and various long-term unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S.
Responsibilities
Develop new software applications and customize existing applications utilizing specific programming languages, frameworks, and development environments
Lead the process of requirements gathering, analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of enterprise grade software application solutions
Take technical responsibility for a subsystem or a whole project overseeing the development of general system designs and playing a senior project role
Develop general system design including internal and external data flows, current and future system requirements, and integration points
Utilize different software development methodologies, processes, techniques, and quality planning methods during all phases of work
Requirements
Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Technology, Data Science, Information Technology, Information Systems Security, Information Design and Technology, Information Science, Telecommunications Engineering, Systems Networks and Engineering, Cybersecurity, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Informatics, Radiophysics, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering, or closely related discipline
2+ years of employment experience in the job offered (Lead Software Engineer), Software Engineer, Systems Engineer, Software Developer, Algorithm Developer, Testing Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, Application Support Engineer, Computer Programmer, IT Developer, Technical Lead, or closely related occupation
At least one of the following cloud services, web technologies, and database technologies: GCP, Azure, AWS, or .NET
At least one of the following programming languages: Java, C++, C#, Python, JavaScript, Golang, or Swift
At least one of the following SCM tools: Git or Docker
Experience leveraging Agile to apply software development methodologies, processes, techniques, and quality planning across all phases of work
