    Description

    Job Summary (List Format) Lead Software Engineer, Retail Team Green Dot Corporation

    - Lead the development of scalable, secure, and resilient payment processing systems for retail platforms.
    - Design and implement backend services and APIs, including DevOps pipelines, system integrations, and release engineering.
    - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, Security, Infrastructure) to ensure seamless service deployment and performance.
    - Drive technical initiatives to enhance CI/CD workflows, observability, and platform reliability.
    - Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure SLA compliance and rapid incident response.
    - Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices within the Retail domain.
    - Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
    - Ensure secure coding practices and compliance workflows, especially in regulated environments.
    - Utilize languages, platforms, and libraries such as C#, .NET, SQL Server, Cosmos DB, Event Hubs, and Service Bus.
    - Work with cloud platforms (Azure preferred), Kubernetes, and DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).
    - Apply knowledge of RESTful APIs, OAuth2, microservices architecture, and container orchestration.
    - Manage multiple projects using Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA.
    - Contribute to a culture of innovation, technical leadership, and continuous improvement.
