Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Lead Subcontracts Specialist for a Contract with a client in Tempe, AZ (Hybrid). The ideal candidate is responsible for managing the end-to-end FAR 15 subcontract lifecycles, including proposal development, supplier negotiations, and contract execution for aerospace programs.

Rate Range: $56/hour to $58/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Lead Subcontracts Specialist Job Responsibilities include:

• Lead the end-to-end FAR 15 subcontract lifecycles, from proposal development through subcontract award and fulfillment.

• Develop and execute negotiation strategies for FAR 15-compliant subcontracts and long-term supplier agreements.

• Manage key suppliers and drive supplier performance to support aerospace program objectives.

• Prepare and deliver compliant FAR 15 proposal packages in accordance with FAR, DFARS, and customer requirements.

• Partner with Pricing, Program, and cross-functional teams to ensure compliant and competitive contract submissions.

• Train, mentor, and support team members while leading assigned sourcing and subcontracting commodities.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Law, or a related field.

• 3-5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, contracts, business, or finance.

• Proven experience with FAR 15 subcontracting, including knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and government contracting requirements.

• Strong negotiation skills with experience managing suppliers, contract execution, and subcontract lifecycle activities within aerospace, defense, or similar industries.

Pay Details: $56.00 to $58.00 per hour
