Seeking a Lead Substation Project Engineer for roles in Boise, ID, Hailey, ID, Billings, MT, or Lakewood, CO, with flexible work arrangements.
This role involves providing expert technical guidance on utility-scale transmission and distribution substation projects, including design, development, and construction of medium- to extra-high-voltage systems.
Key responsibilities include managing project scope, schedules, budgets, quality, and client relationships; performing detailed electrical design and analysis; reviewing specifications; mentoring team members; and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, 7-10 years of relevant experience, proficiency in electrical design software, and knowledge of IEEE/ANSI standards. Preferred qualifications are a Master’s degree, PE license, and extensive substation experience.
