Job Description

Lead and manage the site team from project startup through closeout, serving as the primary point of contact for the owner and key stakeholders. Ensure the project team fully understands contract requirements, scope, and project objectives. Develop, maintain, and monitor the project schedule to support efficient sequencing of work and maximize subcontractor productivity. Implement and oversee the project's Quality Control Program to ensure compliance with contract documents and company standards. Manage subcontractor and vendor agreements, review invoices and pay applications, and ensure accurate and timely payments. Promote and maintain a safe jobsite by enforcing company safety policies and procedures. Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance oversight for field staff while fostering a collaborative and positive team environment. Conduct all business interactions with professionalism, accountability, and integrity. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and the local community while representing the company in a positive manner.

The Successful Applicant

Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience. +/- 7-12 years of progressive experience managing ground-up multi-family, mixed-use, and/or commercial projects, with projects valued from $30M - $250M+. Proven leadership ability with experience mentoring teams and fostering a positive jobsite culture. Strong knowledge of project management, estimating, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting. Excellent organizational, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents. Experience managing client, subcontractor, and vendor relationships while effectively resolving project challenges. Knowledge of subcontract procurement, contract administration, and scope development. Understanding of construction scheduling and project sequencing. Proficiency with industry software such as Procore, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and other construction management platforms. Familiarity with AIA contracts and GMP project delivery methods. OSHA 30 certification required; CCM, PMP, LEED, or other industry certifications preferred.
