Job Description
Lead Superintendent
As the Lead Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day field operations on healthcare renovation and addition projects ranging from approximately $5M to $10M in value. Key responsibilities include:
- Lead all field operations from project kickoff through completion
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders on-site
- Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure successful delivery
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with project requirements
- Manage projects in occupied healthcare environments with minimal disruption to operations
- Partner closely with Project Managers to maintain budgets, schedules, and project quality
- Conduct site meetings, inspections, and progress reporting
- Utilize construction technology tools to support project execution and documentation

A successful Lead Superintendent should have:
- 5+ years of experience serving as the lead superintendent on commercial construction projects
- Proven experience independently running projects valued between $5M and $10M
- Strong healthcare renovation and addition experience preferred
- Experience working in occupied facilities is required
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team coordination skills
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office products
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders while maintaining schedule and quality expectations
- Ability to travel throughout Central Connecticut project locations
