Lead Superintendent - Hospitality & Retail - Boston, MA

Description

• Lead field operations for ground-up and renovation projects ranging from approximately $5M-$25M+
• Manage project schedules, site logistics, subcontractor coordination, and quality control efforts
• Serve as the primary on-site representative for clients, consultants, and project stakeholders
• Mentor Assistant Superintendents and support Project Managers and APMs throughout project execution
• Conduct safety meetings, enforce site safety protocols, and maintain compliance standards
• Coordinate inspections, project documentation, scheduling updates, and progress reporting
• Drive project completion milestones while maintaining budget, schedule, and quality expectations
• Provide leadership support to ownership and operations teams with potential succession into a General Superintendent role

Profile

A successful Lead Superintendent should have:

• 10+ years of Superintendent experience within commercial construction
• Experience managing hospitality, restaurant, retail, multifamily, aviation, or mixed-use projects
• Ground-up construction experience strongly preferred
• Experience overseeing projects valued up to $25M or greater
• Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
• Proven track record working for reputable general contractors
• Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and scheduling tools
• Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License (MA CSL) required
• Established subcontractor relationships within the New England market are a plus
• Ability to travel to project sites throughout Massachusetts and surrounding areas as needed

Job Offer

• Base salary: $130,000 - $165,000
