Lead Superintendent - Multifamily - Boston, MA

Our client, a well-established Construction Manager/General Contractor, is seeking an experienced Lead Superintendent to oversee multifamily and affordable housing projects throughout the Greater Boston market. Description

• Lead all onsite construction activities for ground-up multifamily and affordable housing projects
• Manage project schedules, subcontractors, site logistics, and day-to-day field operations
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Owners, Architects, Engineers, and municipal stakeholders
• Oversee inspections, compliance requirements, and project documentation
• Conduct subcontractor meetings and maintain strong communication across project teams
• Drive site safety initiatives and ensure OSHA compliance at all times
• Mentor field personnel and contribute to overall project success and team development

Profile

A successful Lead Superintendent should have:

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent overseeing ground-up construction projects
• Strong background in multifamily, affordable housing, public housing, or residential developments
• Experience managing projects valued between $30M-$50M
• Proven ability to lead field operations from sitework through project completion
• Proficiency with Procore and Bluebeam
• OSHA 30 certification required
• Construction Supervisor License (CSL) preferred
• Ability to commute throughout the Boston area, including Roxbury and South Boston, with flexibility to support future projects in Providence, RI
• Experience in healthcare, life sciences, industrial construction, or production homebuilding environments is not preferred for this role
