What You’ll Do
- Lead and grow the local survey team, mentoring surveyors and technicians and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture
- Oversee quality, safety, and delivery of survey projects, ensuring accurate, on-time work and efficient workflows
- Manage and review a variety of survey types, including boundary, ALTA/NSPS, topographic, utility/route, subdivision/plats, and construction layout/as-builts
- Partner with other discipline leaders (civil, environmental, geotechnical, etc.) to support integrated project delivery
- Contribute to client relationships and business development efforts, helping identify new opportunities in the region
What We’re Looking For
- Licensed Professional Surveyor (PS) in West Virginia, or the ability to obtain WV licensure in a reasonable timeframe
- Approximately 10+ years of land surveying experience, with some track record of team leadership or mentoring
- Solid hands-on background with common survey project types (boundary, ALTA/NSPS, topographic, construction layout, etc.)
- Comfortable balancing technical oversight, project management, and people leadership
- Strong communication skills and a desire to grow a practice, not just manage a project list
