E-logic is seeking a Lead System Administrator to provide comprehensive technical operations, maintenance, and enterprise architecture support for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the National Weather Service (NWS) at the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center (PTWC)'s operational and administrative networks. This role involves supervising centralized management services, deploying critical updates across a hybrid environment, and ensuring the seamless execution of the tsunami warning infrastructure.


Key Responsibilities


  • Provide central authentication, authorization, and administrative services for 20 Red Hat Linux Servers, 9 Linux Display Clients, 12 Linux Workstations, and 12 Windows Office Automation Computers.
  • Manage directory servers for system administrative domains; establish and maintain accounts, access groups, and file-sharing structures.
  • Deliver management services allowing administrators to assign policies, deploy software, and push critical updates to the LAN infrastructure.
  • Diagnose root causes of system issues, resolve trouble tickets within prescribed Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and coordinate corrective actions for web, data processing, and database server outages.

Mandatory Qualifications


  • 10+ years of dedicated system administration experience managing both Red Hat Linux and Windows environments.
  • Must hold active, current technical certifications in both Red Hat Linux and Windows.
  • Proven experience executing the FISMA Assessment and Accreditation process for High-impact systems.
