Job description
The Goddard School in Edgewater, MD is currently hiring teachers for all classrooms!
Our ideal teachers will love and nurture our children while helping to build a foundation for early childhood development.

Teacher Requirements:
Kindness and strong character
Desire to nurture children and help them to grow to help make the world a better place
CDA or Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (not required, but preferred)
45 Hour Infant/Toddler Certificate or 90 Hour Preschool Certificate preferred.
School is willing to provide tuition assistance, if not currently certified.

EEC Certification preferred (will work with you to get certified)
Must be able to work between the hours of 7:00AM – 6:00PM
Teacher Responsibilities:
Implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum
Providing positive guidance by supporting social and emotional development
Establishing positive and productive relationships with families
Ensuring a well-run program by developing lesson plans and building teamwork
Understanding and implementing Goddard’s Health & Safety procedures
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
