The Goddard School of Broadview Heights, Ohio is seeking a passionate, experienced Lead and/or Assistant Teachers with the skills and desire to provide children with a nurturing, child centered learning experience!
The Goddard School is an industry-leading child-care center for children from six weeks to six years. At Goddard, children are encouraged to develop at their own pace.. The Goddard School uses the most current and academically endorsed method of inquiry based learning; The Goddard School's Wonder of Learning (our proprietary curriculum)
Here is what we look for in you! Lead Teachers, with help from their Assistant Teacher (or co-lead), are responsible for ensuring compliance with Goddard's industry-leading Health & Safety Quality Assurance standards. Our Lead teachers are given weekly lesson planning time outside the classroom. Most importantly, they create a positive learning environment in their classroom where children develop a lifelong love of learning. We are also happy to work with our teachers daily to ensure they are provided with whatever they need to maintain a healthy work environment, as well as a classroom filled with fun-based learning!

Lead Teacher Qualifications:
Associates or BA in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
CDA and Early Childhood Degree
Prior classroom experience (Preferred, will train)
Demonstrate knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
Strong written and communication skills
Assistant Teacher Qualifications:
High School Diploma
Prior childcare experience (Preferred, will train)
Pursuing degree (CDA and Early Childhood Degree partnerships)
Child Care Experience: 1 year (Preferred, will train)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.50 - $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- School is open from 7AM-6PM Monday through Friday
Compensation: $35,360.00 - $37,440.00 per year

The Goddard School provides the foundation to encourage a child's lifelong love of learning .In our warm, caring atmosphere, dedicated teachers support the development of children from 6 weeks to 8 years old. Our year round program offers families the choice of either half day or full day schedule.
We are delighted to be the on-site owners of The Goddard School on Theodore Street in Plainfield. Our play-based curriculum taught by our wonderful degreed teachers in a nurturing learning environment, is tailored to meet the social, intellectual, physical and emotional needs of each individual child.
