Lead Teacher

 Village Children's Academy in Hinsdale is a licensed childcare center seeking a full-time Lead Teacherto support the following age group: 

2-Year-Olds

To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a CDA or at Least 6 ECE college level credits, and the ability to pass all background checks. 

Required Shift: Monday - Friday, full-time, 7:45am-4:45pm

Compensation: $19- $22/hour, based on education and experience

Main Job Responsibilities:

• Lead with all aspects of the classroom in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the center.
• Implement activities that encourage each child’s growth in the areas of emotion, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development.
• Take direction, accept constructive criticism, and feedback, and make improvements and changes as necessary for the betterment of the quality of the program.

• Create and maintain an environment that is clean and safe for all children.
• Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
• Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
