About the Role:
Lasting Impressions Child Development Center in Clarksburg, WV is looking for a passionate and nurturing Lead Teacher to guide and care for our youngest learners in the Infant/Mobile Infant classroom. Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for infants and mobile infants
• Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that supports early developmental milestones
• Monitor and document each child's growth, development, and daily activities
• Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom in compliance with licensing and health standards
• Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom aides
• Follow proper feeding, diapering, and sleep safety protocols in accordance with state regulations

Requirements:

• Experience working with infants and/or toddlers in a licensed childcare or early education setting
• Knowledge of infant developmental stages and age-appropriate curriculum
• CDA (Child Development Associate) credential or Early Childhood Education degree preferred
• Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain
• Ability to meet West Virginia childcare licensing requirements
• Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
• Dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented professional demeanor
