Lead Teacher

Honeycomb Learning Academy is a childcare center located near Thornton Elementary School is actively looking for teachers for all ages. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Developing and implementing experiences and activities for the children
• Building children's self-esteem, comforting children, and implementing positive discipline when required
• Communicating with parents
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children (kneel, bend, squat and lift up to 40lbs)
• Attend all staff development meetings.
• Provide basic care diaper changes, potty training, feedings, etc.
• Ensuring classrooms are clean, safe and well maintained daily.

• Perform other duties as assigned

Seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals who are at least 18 and have:

• High school or GED (Required)
• Ability to pass a criminal background check (Required)
• CPR or First Aid certified or be willing to become certified.
• Two years of early childhood experience (Preferred)

Schedule:

• Full-Time Shift Monday-Friday 9:30am-6pm
