Lead Technical Designer

Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with the Project Management, Graphics Design and Manufacturing teams in creating high quality technical drawings.

· Establish and maintain technical drawing quality standards.

· Ensure drawings contain all necessary details for successful manufacture and installation of our products.

· Help to create and maintain drawing templates for all existing and new product groups.

· Guide and assist the graphics design team with all technical questions.

· Implement design changes.

· Assist with documentation on new product introduction and R&D.

· Proofread vendors’ and manufacturing partners’ technical drawings.

Requirements:

· Min. 3 years’ experience as a Technical Designer in the signage industry.

• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator knowledge is a must, other graphics software experience (Flexi, Corel Draw, LED Wizard, etc.) preferred.
• AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other comparable 3D design experience highly desired.

· Able to analyze and interpret construction and engineering drawings.

· Exceptional attendance and reliability.

· Thoroughness and attention to detail.

· Ability to function as an effective team member.

· Good communication skills, able to help and teach others.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
