Our client a leading asset management firm located in Midtown, Manhattan (Hybrid 3 days onsite) is embarking on a multi-year strategic transformation to build a world-class, scalable marketing technology platform that will power exceptional digital experiences for our prospects and clients. This is a confidential search. As their Marketing Technology Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and executing this vision, driving the integration of cutting-edge MarTech solutions, AI capabilities, and modern digital experiences.

This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll bridge technology and business, working directly with senior stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Product Development, and Data teams. You'll have the opportunity to architect solutions, lead complex implementations, and establish the foundation for how we engage with our clients in the digital age.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Platform Leadership & Strategy
  • Lead the user experience, content management, and end-to-end integration for web and digital channels using modern CMS platforms (preferably Sitecore), ensuring high-performance, secure, and compliant experiences
  • Drive the integration and optimization of the MarTech ecosystem to enable unified client experiences, advanced personalization, and robust analytics
  • Own solution architecture, technology roadmap planning, and vendor management for marketing platforms
  • Champion AI integration opportunities across content personalization, predictive analytics, and campaign optimization
Sales Enablement & Marketing Automation
  • Implement and scale sales enablement solutions (e.g., Seismic), including content governance, taxonomy design, user adoption strategies, reporting, and CRM integration
  • Optimize marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, Eloqua, Pardot) including lead lifecycle management, scoring models, nurture programs, and campaign reporting
  • Ensure seamless integration across the MarTech stack, including CRM (Salesforce preferred), data platforms, CDPs, and analytics tools
Project & Stakeholder Management
  • Manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously, coordinating among team members, stakeholders, cross-functional partners, and vendors
  • Own project scope definition, execution, and implementation, including backlog management, release planning, and stakeholder communications
  • Identify and escalate risks proactively; ensure timely completion and alignment with organizational goals
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, Product Development, and Data teams to analyze current and future needs for digital content workflows, campaign execution, lead generation, and client personalization
Change Management & Enablement
  • Represent Technology alongside marketing operations and sales enablement teams during rollout of new processes and tools
  • Lead training, documentation, and adoption initiatives to ensure successful technology implementations
  • Collaborate closely with business and technology stakeholders to understand marketing and sales enablement challenges and translate them into technical solutions


What Success Looks Like in the first 18 months
  • Successfully lead the implementation and launch of key MarTech platform upgrades or migrations
  • Drive measurable improvements in marketing campaign deployment efficiency and sales content accessibility
  • Establish integrated workflows that connect marketing automation, sales enablement, and CRM systems
  • Build strong partnerships with Marketing and Sales leadership, becoming their trusted technology advisor
  • Create a scalable foundation for AI-powered personalization and analytics capabilities

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing technology, digital platforms, or product/engineering roles, with strong emphasis on Agile methodologies
  • Demonstrated hands-on engineering background (e.g., CMS implementation, API integrations, front-end frameworks) and the ability to lead technical teams and solution delivery
  • Deep expertise with modern CMS platforms, preferably Sitecore or Adobe Experience Manager, including content modeling, personalization, workflows, and integrations
  • Strong experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, Eloqua, Pardot) including lead lifecycle, scoring, nurture programs, and reporting
  • Proven experience implementing and managing sales enablement tools such as Seismic, including content governance, taxonomy, analytics, and CRM integration
  • Proficiency integrating MarTech stacks with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), data platforms, and analytics tools; familiarity with CDP concepts
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, presentation, and communication skills; able to translate complex business needs into clear technical solutions and rally teams around shared goals
  • Strong project management capabilities with experience managing multiple complex, concurrent initiatives
  • Experience with digital asset management (DAM), analytics platforms (Adobe Analytics, Sitecore Analytics), personalization engines, and A/B testing tools
  • Knowledge of SEO/SEM tooling and best practices; integration with site search and content optimization tools
  • Experience in Financial Services or Asset Management with understanding of industry marketing best practices and regulatory requirements
  • Master's degree (MBA or MS in relevant field)
  • Experience with AI/ML integration in marketing contexts (predictive analytics, content generation, personalization)
  • Certifications in relevant platforms (Sitecore, Salesforce, Marketo, etc.)

Salary Range 180k 210k base
