About the Role:
Viola & Virsies Learning in Zanesville, OH is looking for a passionate and nurturing Lead Toddler Teacher to join their growing team! Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and daily activities for toddler-aged children
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and growth
• Monitor and document each child's developmental milestones and progress
• Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's development
• Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom aides
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant classroom in accordance with state childcare regulations
• Build positive, trusting relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members

Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
• Previous experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare or preschool setting
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
• Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass a background check as required by Ohio childcare licensing standards
• Strong communication, patience, and classroom management skills
• Warm, energetic, and team-oriented personality with a genuine love for working with young children
