Description

  • Lead and manage day‑to‑day production activities within a high‑volume stamping and punch press operation
  • Supervise, coach, and develop production leads, operators, and temporary labor across assigned shifts
  • Maintain safe, efficient, and organized manufacturing operations while meeting throughput and quality targets
  • Provide hands‑on support on the shop floor, troubleshooting tooling, equipment, and production issues
  • Work closely with the Operations Manager to enforce production standards, priorities, and process improvements
  • Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and labor allocation to meet changing production demands
  • Support tooling changeovers, die maintenance coordination, and machine readiness
  • Drive accountability around safety, quality, attendance, and performance expectations
  • Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions related to downtime, scrap, or quality issues
  • Ensure operational goals are met while maintaining a strong team culture and clear communication

Profile

  • Proven experience in a production leadership or supervisory role within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with hands‑on exposure to Tool & Die, stamping, or punch press operations
  • Background as a die maker or highly technical shift leader looking to step into (or continue in) management
  • Ability to lead from the floor while still managing people, priorities, and performance
  • Experience enforcing production standards and operational direction set by senior leadership
  • Comfort working in a high‑volume, fast‑paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to lead permanent and temporary workforces
  • Willingness to work flexible hours or support off‑shift operations as needed
