Strivector s premier client (a well-known market leader in their space) is hiring for the following full-time direct hire position.

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Lead, Trade Compliance, your roles and responsibilities will include:

• Review and submit trade-related license applications for ITAR and EAR requirements.
• Review and approve international employee travel requests and foreign national visitors.
• Manage authorization oversight, quality control reviews, and regulatory notifications.
• Review and submit international license applications to meet U.S. Government and company requirements.
• Provide guidance regarding ITAR and EAR requirements, exemptions, and exceptions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact with U.S. Government regulators regarding international trade license applications.
• Develop guidance, procedures, processes, and templates for international licensing requirements.
• Develop and participate in trade-related training events.
• Act as an Empowered Official in accordance with ITAR.
• Support internal monitoring, compliance investigations, and trade-related outreach.
• Support enterprise-wide trade compliance requirements.
• Travel approximately 30% domestically.

QUALIFICATIONS

Most importantly, you need to be a passionate Lead, Trade Compliance professional who enjoys their work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal Lead, Trade Compliance professional would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:

• Bachelor s Degree and minimum 9 years of relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree and minimum 7 years of relevant experience, or 13+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with ITAR Exemptions and EAR Exceptions.
• Experience drafting and submitting ITAR and EAR license applications.
• Experience with OCR EASE preferred.
• Prior experience as an Empowered Official or U.S. Government regulator preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills.
• High attention to detail, integrity, and discretion.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
• Ability to travel as necessary.
