About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Treasury Management Consultant within Global Payments & Liquidity as part of Enterprise Functions.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex initiatives including those that are cross-functional with broad impact, and act as key participant in large scale planning for Treasury Management Consulting functional area
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of Middle Market clients by delivering strategic treasury guidance, identifying growth opportunities, deepening client relationships, and pursuing new business opportunities
  • Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, large scale, or long-term business, operational, or technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors
  • Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations requiring a sound understanding of Treasury Management Consulting functional area, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that influence and lead a broader work team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
  • Partner closely with Relationship Managers, Business Development Officers, and Treasury Management colleagues to deliver integrated client solutions, support new business development, and drive portfolio growth
  • Lead Treasury Management Consulting projects and teams, or serve as a peer mentor

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Treasury Management Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of payables and receivables processes, including workflow optimization and cash‑flow impacts
  • Proven experience managing and growing a portfolio of commercial or middle market clients through proactive relationship management, strategic treasury consulting, and new business development.
  • Proactive, self‑driven approach with the ability to consult, engage, and influence prospects in a fast‑paced environment
  • Excellent partnership and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams and remain receptive to feedback
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail; capable of managing multiple deals, priorities, and internal partners simultaneously
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex treasury concepts for diverse audiences
  • Experience working with Middle Market clients ($100MM-$500MM revenue), including identifying treasury opportunities, deepening existing relationships, and partnering with client coverage teams to support growth objectives
  • CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) designation or willingness to pursue

Job Expectations:

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule
  • This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship
  • Ability to travel up 10-20% of the time
  • Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities and/or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired. Information will be shared about expectations during the recruitment process.

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$143,000.00 - $224,000.00
