Assembler Lead

Full-Time | Manufacturing

We are seeking an experienced Truss Assembler Lead to support daily production operations and provide guidance to an assembly team producing components such as trusses, panels, and stairs. This hands-on position is responsible for coordinating workflow, training team members, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Assign and coordinate daily work tasks to meet production goals.
• Train new employees on assembly processes, tools, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Assemble products using hand tools and machinery.
• Monitor production output, quality, and efficiency.
• Identify and remove defective products or materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist in different production areas as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of component assembly experience or equivalent experience.
• Previous manufacturing, production, or carpentry experience required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing production needs.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and productivity.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.; occasional lifting up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise, and moving equipment.
• Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

In addition to the base wage listed, team members are also eligible to earn an additional incentive subject to changes in plan design and documents and in accordance with applicable law. Eligibility and the amount of the incentive varies based on the terms and conditions of the locations' active incentive plan for the respective year.
