Lead Veterinarian (DVM) – Portland, OR

A well-established veterinary practice is seeking a Lead Veterinarian (DVM) to join its team. Responsibilities

• Perform physical examinations, diagnostics, and treatment planning

• Conduct routine surgical and dental procedures

• Support and mentor veterinarians, technicians, and support staff

• Promote high standards of patient care and medical quality

• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records

• Educate clients on preventive care and treatment options

• Assist with hospital initiatives focused on growth, efficiency, and team success

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited institution

• Active veterinary license or eligibility for licensure

• Previous veterinary experience required

• Leadership or mentorship experience preferred

• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

• Commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care
