What You'll Do

As our Lead VPK Teacher, you will:

• Lead your own preschool classroom with confidence and creativity
• Implement our engaging L.E.A.P. Curriculum
• Create hands-on lesson plans that make learning exciting
• Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
• Maintain classroom organization and child assessments
• Build strong relationships with families through daily communication
• Ensure compliance with DCF health and safety standards
• Collaborate with Assistant Teachers to create a positive classroom environment
• Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and joyful learning atmosphere

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• 1+ years of preschool, childcare, or early childhood classroom experience preferred
• CDA credential or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
• Florida DCF 45-hour training completed
• VPK Literacy Training completed
• CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A genuine passion for working with young children

Requirements

Candidates must meet all Florida state licensing requirements, including successful completion of a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
