What You’ll Do
As our Lead VPK Teacher, you will:
- Lead your own preschool classroom with confidence and creativity
- Implement our engaging L.E.A.P.® Curriculum
- Create hands-on lesson plans that make learning exciting
- Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Maintain classroom organization and child assessments
- Build strong relationships with families through daily communication
- Ensure compliance with DCF health and safety standards
- Collaborate with Assistant Teachers to create a positive classroom environment
- Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and joyful learning atmosphere

Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
- 1+ years of preschool, childcare, or early childhood classroom experience preferred
- CDA credential or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
- Florida DCF 45-hour training completed
- VPK Literacy Training completed
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A genuine passion for working with young children
Requirements
Candidates must meet all Florida state licensing requirements, including successful completion of a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
