Lead Warehouse Worker - Elite Travel Team

Position Summary:

Penske Logistics is looking for warehouse associates to become part of our Elite Travel team. This is a great opportunity for safety-conscious individuals who have a pleasant, outgoing attitude and want to excel in a warehouse environment. Provide training support and some supervision to regular and temporary warehouse associates. Works closely with Operations Supervisors to ensure employee productivity expectations are met. Provides a variety of responsibilities to meet the supervisors' expectations.

Compensation:

Lead Warehouse Worker will be paid a base hourly rate of $20.00/hour

Training:

The successful candidate will complete training at their home warehouse location for up to 90 days prior to any travel taking place and must maintain an acceptable attendance and performance record during that training period. Training will consist of material handling equipment, RF systems, picking, packing, loading and various other warehouse functions.

Travel Expectations and Additional Compensation:

• Associates will be paid an additional $5.00 per hour while working on a travel assignment.
• Upon successful completion of training, when working at home location, compensation will include a $2.00 differential per hour
• Travel Assignments will be 1 to 3 weeks minimum
• Must spend 75% of time at travel sites providing support
• Local work might not be available during the 25% of time at home.

o If this happens, the home week will be unpaid or PTO can be taken, if available.

• Meal expenses covered during travel assignments
• Department will pay for Air Travel, Rental Cars and Hotels. Incidental expenses, such as rental car fuel expenses will be paid by the associate and reimbursed.
• Associate will be expected to drive to sites in their personal vehicle for assignments
