As the Warehouse Lead, you will be a key contributor to our distribution center’s success. In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll create and maintain a safety-first culture while ensuring smooth and efficient warehouse operations. You’ll oversee a team of associates, driving productivity, accuracy, and compliance with all safety protocols.
Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, you’ll be onsite and actively involved in day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities May Include
- Foster a safety-first culture among all warehouse associates and truck drivers, implementing and enforcing safety protocols and procedures.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and cost-effective distribution environment.
- Oversee warehouse organization, including bin location management and ERP transfers for operational efficiency.
- Assign tasks to operators based on schedules and targets agreed with the Supervisor.
- Communicate progress and challenges to operators, supervisors, and business leaders through meetings and reports.
- Manage inventory accuracy through audits and cycle counts and track all inbound/outbound shipments with proper documentation.
- Fill in for Supervisor when required and perform other duties as assigned by Site Management.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
2+ years in a warehouse environment with knowledge of safety regulations and best practices (preferred).
Basic computer skills and ability to use warehouse technology (RF scanners, printers, computers).
Strong communication skills for team coordination and reporting.
Ability to lift 40–60 lbs routinely and up to 80 lbs occasionally; stand for extended periods; bend, stack pallets, and operate equipment.
Ability to perform duties independently with minimal supervision and follow written and verbal instructions.
